Nathan Baillieul

Nathan Baillieul, Belgium's first fully certified Irish dance teacher TCRG: “Teastas Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha”.

Born in a family where dancing is in the genes, Nathan started his first steps at the age of 4. Before he danced Irish, Nathan had experienced different dance styles such as classical ballet dancing.

In 2005, Nathan moved to Dublin to take classes at the famous 'O’Sé School of Irish Dance'. Next he moved to Berlin, and opened his dance school there in 2008.

In the spring of 2010, Nathan decided to dance with the renowned dance school ‘Tìr nanÒg Germany’ under direction of Shane McAvinchey (TCRG, Riverdance) and Mary Sweeney (ADCRG) in preparation of the world championships. Soon he started teaching dancers of all ages and levels.

April 2011: Nathan competed successfully and as first Belgian at the worldchampionships of Irish Dance in Dublin where he placed 21st and simultanuously the first of Mainland Europe.

Half a year later, Nathan moved back to Belgium and opened the dance school 'Eireann Dance Academy' in Brasschaat.

In 2012, Nathan got his official teacher's title, TCRG “Teastas Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha” as first and up to now only person in Belgium.
